Mountain Beauty

I recently got back from a delightful family ski expedition to Breckenridge, Colorado.  While I'm dying for spring to arrive, being in the winter wonderland of the rockies was cozy and beautiful.  I was hoping to have some fabulous outfits to share, but for this trip I had to put function slightly over fashion.  But don't worry, cherry blossom season (here in DC) is right around the corner and I have a lot of spring goodies to share.

Hittin' the slopes!  I haven't been skiing for a while and I was afraid my mad skills would be lost.  Not to worry, I was flying down moderates right away!

I was afraid the runs would be really crowded, but once you get off the gondolas and start flying you have the scenery to yourself.

After killing my legs on the mountain some fine French dining and spa time with mom was much needed.

Secret Enchantments

Everyday I am amased by how beautiful Old Town Alexandria is.....George Washington was really on to something!  Whenever I venture towards a new ally way I discover enchanting pathways and boutiques.

Sweet Emotion

All week I try to eat as health as possible and work out daily....but when the weekend hits I definitely need to indulge a little.  Certainly "Crumbs," the cupcakery conveniently located by my gym and place of employment, Free People, has proven to be a deadly temptation.  I broke down and bought my boyfriend and I some cupcakes....The Elvis (banana and peanut butter) and Rasberry Swirl (the better of the two.)   And to make matters worse I discovered a wonderful local coffee joint by my apartment in Old Town Alexandria....Misha's.  Not only do they serve amazing coffee, but they also serve my favorite.....almond croissants and blackberry danish.  Bon appetit!

Even though I'm not too sure I buy into atrostomy, I certainly feel like an Aquarius.....I am an exhibitionsit, humanitarian, and I love taking long hot bubble baths. Happy birthday to me on the 16th and above are just a few goodies I found to celebrate the water carrier.
