Auld Lang Syne

Happy New Year
A look back at my year in fashion and travels
It has been a crazy year! I moved to Washington D.C where I have been taking in the museums and history.
Boots: Bronx, BDG Leggings, Rasputin tunic, Free People sweater

I got to travel a lot this summer and found myself in lovely Vail, Colorado.
(Miz Mooz boots, Free People tunic and tulle slip, hippo necklace J Crew, fringe bag Antik Batik)

I feel most at home when I am in Breckenridge, Colorado.
(Free People dress and belt, BDG cardigan, Miz Mooz Boots, Antik Batik fringe bag)

Colonial Georgetown in Washington DC is my favorite place to shop and grab a coffee. The aesthics are always inspiring.
(Free People blouse, Paige Denim, Jeffrey Campbell Oxfords, Urban Outfitters watch)

The best part of moving is creating a new space.  Living in Old Town Alexandria is like always being in a fairy tale.
(Free People: sweater, skirt, necklace, bralette & Jeffrey Campbell Oxfords)

Having a birthday in February can be depressing, but I try not to let it get me down by wearing bright colors.
(Anthropologie Tunic)

First visit to Philadelphia! My favorite band "Faith No More" reunited for a fantastic show and I wasn't going to miss it.  I wanted to see them at Coachella but they made it to the East Coast.
(Free People Top, Skirt, and Belt)

Anniversary date to see Steely Dan at Constitution Hall....magical.
(Free People headband, Anthropologie Blazer)

Growing up in Wisconsin I spent a lot of time in Chicago, but the move and new life in Washington DC brought my to NYC where I can immerse myself in theatre, art, and fashion.

Paris, Je T'Aime

 Where inspiration begins.....

My fabulous find at American Retro

No caption needed.  Best place to people and fashion watch.

My first voyage to <brParis/> will forever be rembered as the day Michael Jackson died. Being a huge fan I was fotrunate to be at a cultural center for fans from all over the world to sing "Thriller" in unison.

The charming Marais distirct

Fabric shopping with mom near Place de Bastille

These lovely huge hydrangeas were everywhere in the Place de Vosges

A moment with Mr. Mojo Risin

Rockin' some Urban Outfitters at the Louvre :)

Lovliest floral shop (and couple)  in all of Paris....

The quaintest bookstore in the Latin Quarter.  Embracing my French surroundings, I purchased the Marquis De Sade's "Crimes of Love."
