Good Morning World!

I am feeling fresh and rejuvenated after a nice long weekend.  Columbus Day may be my favorite holiday since it's so random and there are no real commitments to do anything.    Here is my recap:

Friday: Kicked off the weekend by hitting up the delicious new happy hour in Clarendon with one of my co-workers.

Nothing like some homemade queso dip and squash empenadas.  The hibiscus margarita was pretty awesome too.

Saturday: Started the morning off by working a few hours at Free People- Clarendon.  It was a lovely and relaxing morning playing with gorgeous fall clothes and sharing a coffee with my friend and co-worker. Nothing like the Free People ladies.  I did snatch up a pair of gray jeans and a fair isle infinity scarf.  :)

Had lunch at Whole Foods with my love and helped him pick out a bike jacket from REI for his birthday.

Spent the rest of the day enjoying the fall sites in Old Town and enjoying a pumpkin beer and pumpkin pesto pizza at Pizzaria Paradiso.

Sunday: Kicked off the day right with an intense body attack class. Called home to catch up with my amazing family. I spent much of the afternoon organizing my wardrobe and getting emotional while packing up my summer clothes.  Folding up my Paris dresses made me really sad and long to relive being there this summer.  Bret and I wanted to see a movie but decided we'd rather cuddle up in in-doors and cook and watch a movie.

Monday: I finally got to the Hirshhorn Smithsonian Museum and Sculpture Garden of modern art.  It was absolutely magnificent!  Loved the exhibits and can't wait to get back and see more.
